I don't know why we bother with this damn machine, we never get anything useful out of it. And that Personalization attachment? I don't want anything digging around in my labyrinthine mind. But rules are rules, and you gotta stick to 'em if you wanna break 'em where it counts. Er. Whatever, nobody reads these things anyway.

One (1) retrocausal psychic emanation from a case that hasn't happened yet (I hate these things. Damn future-links. This thing will be broken for God knows how long until that case entry is actually made.)

Twelve (12) epiphanies. Including: what I had for breakfast, the lead suspect's favorite toast toppings, the full solution to a case that just passed the statute of limitations, and why I hate Ol' Pete's whiskey so goddamn much. Applicability to case: minimal. I'm not a goddamn medium.

Three (3) bad vibes. I could feel it in my hat, there's some real no-good business here, and more coming. Of course, I could have told you that the instant I heard the name "Aesop" connected to this case. Why do we even bother with these reports.

One (1) SCROMBLE field signature, reverberating off the nearest five (5) mirrors. Unusual longevity of the signal suggests bio-cyber origin.
